Josif Pancic's bibliography

During his scientific career between 1842 and 1888, Josif Pancic published  his research results, concerned with  Serbia, Montenegro, Bulgaria and the then Austria-Hungary, in 26 botanical papers and 4 significant zoological works. Besides, he published his research results as well as news and  comments on contemporary achievements – in natural sciences in Serbia and other countries- in about 20 professional and popular articles in different newspapers and teaching bulletins.

His teaching activities were perpetuated  by being published in 4 textbooks , in a number of editions, for the pupils of elementary and Great School.

A number of bibliographies have been written on Josif Pancic’s research work and  Pancic himself. The most comprehensive  accounts, used also for this presentation, were published in 1998 in Collected Works of Josif Pancic:
